Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara High Definition Collagen Coat || MagpieMagpie Blog

I’ve been on the hunt for a new drugstore mascara, of course, didn’t know where to start. At the time it was just after Christmas and there were a few Christmas sets on sale. I’d been thinking of trying a few things from Soap & Glory so when I saw the set was on sale and there was a mascara and an eyeliner in it I was sold!

I ended up not trying the mascara for a few months because I’ve been trying to use up a product before moving onto the next. I’m still going strong with this! I hadn’t heard anything about the Soap & Glory mascara so didn’t know what to expect. As it was a gift set I couldn’t actually see what the wand would be like or the eyeliner, which was funny coz I can be SUPER fuzzy about them. I realise now I could have just gone down to the stand.

They say it’s all in the name, and with this Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara they are not wrong. When I like a mascara I tend to like the ones that thicken my lashes as apposed to lenghtening which is funny because I was convinced it was the other way around but no, I was wrong. Ha ha! Thinking about it, I found the wand of the lengthening mascaras more appealing visually, but what I was after was the voluminous ones. Anyway I digress.

The packaging is right up my street, like with things smelling of chocolate, I can be won over by packaging alone. I like the sleek, simple, classic look and if its in gold, winning! The wand is one I wouldn’t usually go for. It’s got densely packed bristles vibes, but on closer inspection you can see that one side is shorter and the other is a bit sparse so it can grasp each lash and coat it fully! These types of brushes are great because you can do both top and bottom lashes with the same product which can actually be quite difficult.

It coats the lashes from the first application which is great for a girl on the go. It doesn’t clump, or flake, or run down my face. The price point it great too, coming in at about £10, boots often do a 3 for 2 or a buy one get one half price so its worth a look! Also because it’s coming up to Christmas time and all the sets are out, it’s worth a look to see if you can bag a bargain! For instance this Soap & Glory gift set (Click HERE) comes with a full size mascara and two other products for only £10. Christmas is the best time to experiment with new products for sure!

Till next week, hopefully Sunday. I swear I’m trying
